I want to thank all of our volunteers that have helped keep the doors open at Hope Pregnancy Care. Without their showing up and greeting and talking with our visitors, Hope Pregnancy Care Center could not continue to function.  I want also to thank all the churches, church groups and individuals who donate to HPCC.

Hope Pregnancy Care Center did receive notice (Sept 2) from the NC Diaper Bank that they have chosen to utilize the Stokes County Health Dept. as their distribution partner in Stokes County. They have not give a specific reason for not continuing with HPCC but thanked us for what we have done. HPCC has chosen to distribute the remaining diapers as requested by our visitors but will be referring all needing diapers to the Stoke County Health Dept. WIC Program as asked to by the NC Diaper Bank.image 045 small

While all of us are disappointed with the NCDB decision it was their decision to make the Health Dept the distribution point for Stokes County. To continue through the end of the year simply puts off the inevitable for folks that have been coming to Hope.

The Diaper ministry at Hope has never been our main emphasis. It did grow in scope mainly because of the free diapers. Our main emphasis remains that we are committed to providing our clients with accurate and complete information about both prenatal development and abortion. The diaper ministry grew from our commitment to assist women to carry to term by providing emotional support and practical assistance. We can still do this through keeping a small supply of new born and size one diapers on hand along with the clothing and other items we continue to receive in donations.

Hey! Help us out when you can. Pray for the ministry here at HPCC!

Speaker Paul Ryan Refuses to Fund Planned Parenthood in Zika Bill “That’s Something We Won’t Do”

“Speaker Paul Ryan refused to give in to pro-abortion Democrats’ demands for more Planned Parenthood funding in the Zika aid bill on Thursday.”

“Democrats have been blocking critical aid bills to combat the virus for months because they do not fund a few Planned Parenthood facilities in Puerto Rico. On Wednesday, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi said Democrats would continue to block legislation unless the abortion giant gets more taxpayer dollars.”

NC Diaper Bank Chooses WIC Program to Distribute Diapers

The NC Diaper Bank has made their decision that HPCC will not continue as a partner with them. They have chosen to ask us to refer folks to the Stokes County Health Dept. WIC program for their diaper needs through the NC Diaper Bank.
Hope has chosen to begin informing our folk this week. As people come in and request diapers, we will continue to give them as long as we have that size on hand. At the same time the will be informed that we will not continue to be a primary supplier of their diaper needs and direct them to the WIC Program at  (336)593-2402.
We will continue to maintain our clothing and baby supplies closet.

NFL Player Speaks Out

NFL player speaks out on Planned Parenthood agenda.

The August 5th post online at Lifenews.com posted Ben Watson’s statements on Planned Parenthood.  “Christian NFL player Ben Watson does not hesitate to call out Planned Parenthood’s targeting of minority women and their babies for abortions.

In a recent interview with Turning Point Pregnancy Resource Center in San Diego, the Baltimore Ravens player talked about the racial divide in America and how it factors into the abortion issue.

“… abortion saddens me period, but it seems to be something that is really pushed on minorities and provided to minorities especially as something that they should do,” Watson said.

He pointed to Planned Parenthood’s founder Margaret Sanger and her eugenic push to exterminate people she deemed “unfit.” Today, “it’s working,” Watson said.”
