The US House voted to defund Planned Parenthood according to the October 23 post on LifeNews.com. Unfortunately, our Congressman, Mark Walker ( the NC 6th District where HPCC is located) did not vote with the majority because he wanted to defund all of Obama Care and not just parts of it. We need people that will take the necessary steps when there is an opportunity to take those steps and not just wait for the perfect bill to come up. We know that the US Senate will likely block this bill as it moves forward but with enough prayer support, God can do anything! Pray that we get this on through the Senate and make another step towards saving baby lives.

LifeNews.com posted this story online: “Pregnancy centers in California have filed a lawsuit seeking to overturn a new law pro-abortion Governor Jerry brown signed forcing them to promote abortions. As LifeNews reported, Governor Brown signed the law last week.”
“The new law forces pregnancy clinics to inform women and girls that California has public programs that provide immediate free or low-cost abortions for eligible women. These faith-based medical centers must also tell their client to contact the county social services office to see if the pregnant woman qualifies for the free or cheap abortions.”
