“Admittedly I am very partial to well-done pro-life videos, but even if I was not a fan I think my jaw still would have dropped when I watched Interview with an Unborn Child. This amazing video can be found at interviewwithunborn.com.”
“The creators of this very brief video (4:16) know that abortion is a sensitive topic and even many pro-lifers find brutally honest pictures of aborted babies very unsettlingly. So they immediately tell the viewer, “The film contains NO shocking images.” And it doesn’t!………………” DAVE ANDRUSKO JUN 16, 2015 | 9:37AM WASHINGTON, DC
“The U.S. Supreme Court today rejected an appeal from the state of North Carolina to uphold a pro-life law allowing women a chance to see an ultrasound of their unborn baby before an abortion. Ultrasounds are routinely performed before an abortion but abortion clinics often don’t let women see the ultrasound image or get a description of their unborn baby before the abortion occurs.” LifeNews.com reports on their site.
“Justice Antonin Scalia voted to hear the appeal but a majority of the justice voted against hearing it, meaning the law will not be upheld.
To allow women a chance to see the ultrasound, North Carolina passed a bill requiring abortion practitioners to ensure that happens. The law also requires the abortion practitioner to allow a woman considering an abortion to hear the heartbeat of her baby and to describe what the ultrasound shows. But it faced a lawsuit from the ACLU and Planned Parenthood.” Read the entire article here.
Lifenews.com reports “A new national report from the Associated Press indicates that abortions have dropped 12 percent nationwide and are down in almost every state in the country as more babies are being saved from abortions than ever before.”
Every abortion clinic that closes is a good thing. But, other factors like RU-486 are out there too. We must continue to be vigilent as we continue our fight! Like Mark Crutcher at Life Dynamics says “We’re not here just to put up a good fight. We’re here to win, because winning is how the killing stops.”
Gov. Pat McCory announced he has signed the 72 hour wait for abortion bill on June 6. According to WXII news: “The abortion bill requires women to talk to a doctor or other qualified professional 72 hours before having an abortion, unless there’s a medical emergency. The bill adds other rules for doctors and clinics that perform abortions and includes several unrelated criminal justice measures.”
The section of the HB 465 that changes this are specifically found in SECTION 7.(b) G.S. 90-21.82 reads as rewritten: Ҥ 90-21.82. Informed consent to abortion.
This appears to be another small victory in helping those seeking to kill their unborn child more time to think and make and informed choice before doing so.
During April 2015 Hope Pregnancy Care Center had 42 people come to the center for assistance. Six were brand new clients with the balance being clients who have utilized us more than once. Three came for a pregnancy test. All three were negative tests. 1 person received maternity clothes, 6 received baby clothes, 4 received furnishings, 1 received baby toys, 1 received baby food and 13 received some baby wipes. The majority of people seeking assistance came through our diaper ministry services. We were able to give out 1,876 diapers this month. We gave out 120 new born diapers, 35 size 1, 708 size 2, 708 size 3, 477 size 4, 510 size 5 and 26 size 6.
The Diaper Bank of NC – Greater Triad continues to supply most of our diaper needs. They are changing the way they package their diapers sent this message to us recently. “….in our efforts to be consistent with the other diaper bank branches, we are transitioning to packs of 25 for all sizes. Currently we are giving packs of 25 for sizes 4 and 5, but the smaller sizes are still in packs of 30 until we run out of our current supply of packs. Size 6s and pull-ups are wrapped in packs of 10 (due to the expense of these diapers and also since babies this size are often potty training and usually use less diapers per day at this stage anyway). We continue to give out diapers in larger package sizes until they run out. (This is especially true of size 3’s.) When those are completely passed out we’ll give our clients the packages as per the Diaper Bank and decide on a case by case basis on what the needs are.

“The pro-choice movement coined the term “reproductive health” to promote contraception and ever-more-questionable methods to end pre-born lives worldwide. Far from empowering women, abortion has created a multifaceted marketplace that profits from killing the defenseless and using a woman’s body during pregnancy.
Globally, the health and safety of women is being threatened by a corrupt industry that exploits them and devalues human life. Detailed research reveals five emerging issues that pose immediate risks to women during maternity.” LifeNews.com June 3, 2015 posts this article….read the entire article here.
